I’m
way too young, you will no doubt cry! But a combination of The Pandemic and the
‘revised’ USS pension made it a no-brainer to retire a little early. I’ve been retained
as a consultant by the university for a few years, so I won’t be bored. My ‘new
life’ began April Fool’s Day: I thought it too good an
opportunity to miss.
Not
being able to celebrate in any usual manner, Julie booked an Eat at Home
4-course meal from Haar Restaurant – we had previously
celebrated Valentine’s Day with a Haar meal, and
really enjoyed it – to be recommended!
