Our drive north to Sutherland took us past some old-favourites: Stac Pollaidh and Suilven

We spent a couple of nights at the Eddrachilles
Hotel on Badcall Bay

We cycled to Loch Eriboll
Past some stunning bays
|
|
|
Through beautifully bleak moor land to Eriboll
After two nights at the Eddrachilles
Hotel we headed for Tongue Hotel, and on the way we climbed an old favourite
|

|
Loch na Seilge, on the climb to Ben Stack
|
|
|
As we climb higher the view opens-up: on the horizon the islands
of Lewis and Harris
|
|
|
Ben Stack is not very high, but it does have a true pointed summit
and spectacular views
Arkle and Foinaven

|
After descending the south ridge of Ben Stack we have a 3-miles
road walk back to our car
|
|
|
Next day we cycled into the wilderness passed Ben Loyal
|
|
|
We reach our turnaround point Loch an Dherue
- and Julie's quite pleased about that
