Second
year in a row we spent Xmas at the cottage: rather unusual for us! On this
occasion we had Sabrina and Remco staying with us,
and for Xmas day itself we also had Leda and Michelle.
We
got the decorations ready, and right on time the Xmas
cactus flowered!
We
had a white Xmas, as did the rest of the British Isles!
Bacon
and mushroom sarnies to start the day…
Julie
models her new slippers!
Preparing
the goose for its mammoth cooking time: 4.5-hours!
We had
plenty of time to work-up an appetite…
Michelle
and Leda plough-on ahead, leaving the men to tidy-up after them;-)
It was
certainly a white Xmas!
After
getting ourselves nice and hungry, it was time for the feast!
Remco
likes his Xmas prezzy…
Far
too studious a Xmas, if you ask me…
That’s
more like it: what better than a new dressing-gown and a Banks’y
Boxing
Day, and another walk, but not before watching a bit of curling on Lindores
Loch…
