Here are a few of those lovely colours for #SixOnSaturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First up is a wonderful red chilli.  Lots of sunshine is allowing those chillies to finally ripen in the greenhouse.   Here&#8217;s a vibrant one, possibly a jalape\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2198\" height=\"2477\" src=\"https:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/red-chilli.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2908\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>More delicate, and outdoors in the elements, astrantia looks almost translucent in the autumn light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2883\" height=\"2652\" src=\"https:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/astrantia.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2910\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Back into the greenhouse for my favourite chilli of all, the deliciously fruity, yet quite hot, loom drop.  And what gorgeous colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2290\" height=\"2522\" src=\"https:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/lemon-drop.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2912\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Rose this year have been magnificent, and they still are. I simply cannot resist including another rose, in the warm afternoon sunshine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2841\" height=\"2353\" src=\"https:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/rose-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2914\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>My even more favourite chilli of all, Alberto Rotocco, this sturdy plant often overwinters in the greenhouse, produces huge delicious juicy chillies for a lot of the year, and reliably grows babies from collected seeds, what&#8217;s not to love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2233\" height=\"2156\" src=\"https:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/alberto.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2916\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After the unusual warmth and dryness of the summer, amarine are flowering magnificently.
