I&#8217;m still in Canada, and there&#8217;s been a lot of Halloween garden action this week as I&#8217;ve been on my travels around Toronto. Here&#8217;s a partly spooky, partly glorious autumn colour #SixOnSaturday from other people&#8217;s garden in Toronto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WOW &#8212; to a European the sugar maple at this time of year is an astonishingly beautiful spectacle. This one was back lit by the afternoon sun. What a glorious plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"989\" height=\"1280\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/orange-tree.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2941\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, as I&#8217;ve wandered around there are surprising things in people&#8217;s gardens, even small front gardens. Look at these sunflowers! There&#8217;s been no frost here yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2327\" height=\"2562\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/sunflowers.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2946\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now for some spooky stuff.  These people went to town with a garden full of Halloween activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2878\" height=\"3360\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/spooky-garden.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2945\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And these spooky giant cats were many metres tall, in a very elegant front garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2894\" height=\"2955\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/spooky-cats.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2944\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On my walking travels, I took in some fabulous colour, just along the side of a road, leading into a park. What wonderful reds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2897\" height=\"2969\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/red-trees.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2942\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And to finish this week, this isn&#8217;t a garden, but it is the Humber River, near it&#8217;s mouth at Lake Ontario, a peaceful scenes in wonderful sunshine with autumn loveliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3418\" height=\"2218\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/river.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2943\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I hope you enjoyed my travelling six this week. there will be more of these if I can find some gardens to enjoy.
