From sunshine to 30cm of snow in just a day, and there went ALL the leaves.  Here&#8217;s a snowy #SixOnSaturday from the streets of Toronto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First up, such a wonderful national emblem, here are a couple of maple leaves emulating the Canada national flag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3034\" height=\"2334\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/maple.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2954\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The whole world seemed covered in snow the morning after the storm, at least some of the yellow leaves were still hanging on, on this garden shrub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2329\" height=\"3340\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/leaves-on-shrub.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2953\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And these plants were so covered in snow, they were pretty hard to identify at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2647\" height=\"3130\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/shrubs.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2955\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As the storm melted away, leaves fell at some rate, here the street is 4-5cm deep with newly fallen leaves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2373\" height=\"3145\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/street.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2956\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Further down the street, one of my favourite trees, a ginkgo, has lost all of its leaves, really carpeting the curtsied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2542\" height=\"3057\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/ginko.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2952\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It was possible to stand and watch the leaves fall.  This car was parked for just a little too long. I rather liked the arty look of the car-cloak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2667\" height=\"2895\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/car.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2951\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I hope you enjoyed my still remote #SixOnSaturday.
