It&#8217;s been 17 DegC outside on Friday and will be sunny all weekend.  This is a short look at some lovely colours as we&#8217;re busy with friends this weekend. So here is   #SixOnSaturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Late springs see azalea flowering. I love the simplicity of a white bloom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2299\" height=\"1886\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/azelia.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3225\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In a boggier area, hosts and beginning to come into leaf, looking fresh green and pristine at this early stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2712\" height=\"2207\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/hosta.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3229\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The tulips have lasted well this year, though I suspect a warm spell this weekend will see them bow out for the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2350\" height=\"1965\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/tulip-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3230\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hopefully, there won&#8217;t be too many more frosts &#8212; if not the gunners will continue to grow and grow. it has just started it&#8217;s comeback for the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3351\" height=\"2664\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/gunnera.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3228\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The last of the doffs are hanging on, but are now going a little curly at the edges. It has been a great season for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2843\" height=\"2385\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/daff.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3227\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Last this week, the bridal veil is in its gentle fluffy flowering, a delicate and beautiful sweep of tiny flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2660\" height=\"1599\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/bridal-veil.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3226\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I hoped you enjoyed sharing my spring #SixOnSaturday.
