My favourites are always red, but they seem too saturated for a phone camera to cope. Here, instead, a variety whose name I’ve forgotten but which were promised to be ‘blue’ — more like mauve perhaps, but nice enough. I can’t get enough tulips, literally, as about half the bulbs I plant seem to disappear (probably providing mice with winter forage).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"722\" src=\"http:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/blue_tulips-1024x722.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-416\" srcset=\"https:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/blue_tulips-1024x722.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/blue_tulips-300x212.jpg 300w, https:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/blue_tulips-768x542.jpg 768w, https:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/blue_tulips-1536x1084.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/balmerino.ddns.net\/geekygarden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/blue_tulips-2048x1445.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
That’s my Six for the week.
