In the unlikely event that you find this page, could you please get back in touch. Several years ago we were exchanging research details of the Mattison – Thompson family tree.

A few months after our email comms my computer suffered a complete malfunction and I lost all my family tree work (but I did / do have all the info on paper) and, more crucially, I lost all of my emails and email addresses, including yours! And yes, stupidly, I didn’t then have any back-up… I do now!

My reason for trying to contact you has to do with old photograph negatives that my brother has discovered: he’s scanning them and making digital copies. One photo has us baffled; we don’t recognise these folk, and they don’t appear in any other images – at least not yet; there are many more negatives to scan. I think I see a family resemblance to a photo you sent of William Mattison, and would love to hear from you if you have any ideas.
