Loch Leven, in the western Highlands
of Scotland – not to be confused with a loch of the same name in the lowlands
– is 9 miles in length and close to Glencoe. In this photograph the snow
covered top, center of the image, is Sgorr na Ciche (also known as the Pap
of Glencoe), and Glencoe itself is on the other side of the snowy ridge. Photographed
from the footpath of the West Highland Way, to the northwest of Kinlochleven. |
